Profile Performance: The automotive aftermarket's best name in LED Lighting and when it comes to upgraded LED DRL Boards, their new tech and it's features make it a no brainer! Fact is that while the rest of the industry is busy sticking their name on a generic or standing still with the same-old same-old; Profile is working hand-in-hand with the industry's experts to produce products with the performance and features that we all expect. Our customers are loving the new Pivot Switchback DRL Boards that they're cranking out, and here's why!
Switchback: Profile's specially designed drivers have a separate function for your turn signal circuit. When triggered, the LED driver will automatically interrupt the white mode and flash the integrated amber LED chips for a modern switchback turn signal in your DRL position. When the turn signal stops, the white mode will automatically return to its previous setting. Functional
Super Amber: The smart drivers on the Pivot DRL boards are programmed to temporarily bump the power to the amber LED's when they first illuminate. So what? You get the best of both worlds. A switchback DRL board with an insanely bright amber turn signal, and also one that can work reliably forever too! (because the over-driven amber output is so brief, chip reliability is unaffected)
OEM Functionality: All Pivot LED DRLs are 100% direct swaps in place of the original boards, and even though they also add a turn signal function - they will also retain the factory low/high intensity white daytime running light functionality too. Their inputs use the same factory connectors as the original DRL board drivers, for a super clean installation! The LED drivers are housed inside an aluminum housing that's been anodized with an attractive gloss black finish and laser engraved with the Profile Pivot graphics.
Installation: Are the Pivot DRL boards just too good to be true? No, not really. But lets be real, you have to take the headlights off your vehicle, open them up (which often times isn't so easy) and then carefully take them apart and re-assemble the internals to finish the install. Is it rocket science? No. But if you're not so handy or simply impatient, we do recommend professional installation.
